Description The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around NI. With our lifeboats, lifeguards, safety advice and flood rescue, we are committed to saving lives. It costs around 410,000 a day to run the RNLI, all of which is generously donated by the public. This might sound like a lot, but we think the 24 people rescued a day (on average) are worth it. Committee Member volunteers required for RNLI. Must be able to attend committee meetings once a month, being held in either Portrush or Coleraine. Will ideally suit someone who is enthusiastic, has initiative, willing to be an active member of RNLI (eg organising events, etc) You will be involved in the: Planning future directions Induction to newly elected Committee members Ensuring that all members of the Committee act as leadership role models Making decisions that are in the best interest of the organisation
