Fundraising Bucket Collectors (RNLI)
Location Causeway Coast & Glens
Description The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around NI. With our lifeboats, lifeguards, safety advice and flood rescue, we are committed to saving lives. It costs around 410,000 a day to run the RNLI, all of which is generously donated by the public. This might sound like a lot, but we think the 24 people rescued a day (on average) are worth it. So we urgently need your help to raise funds. Bucket collectors are required for street collections/flag days organised by the RNLI. Volunteers are needed to take part in various fundraising events in our local area throughout the year, as and when required. Role will include helping with street/supermarket collections, assisting at fundraising events e.g. coffee mornings, quiz nights, etc and going on house-to-house collections. The role would ideally suit someone who is friendly, honest and reliable who enjoys meeting with the public and has the desire to help the RNLI. Fundraising is usually carried out in Castlerock, Coleraine, Limavady, Bushmills and Articlave. We are a great organisation to be a part of!
