Mental Health Peer Advocate (Bee Heard)

Description Bee Heard is an independent mental health support charity that provides a listening ear for adults suffering from any mental illness on a drop-in basis. We are currently looking for more Peer Advocates. If you know what it is like to have felt lonely, anxious, depressed or isolated and would like to help other people going through a similar time by simply offering them a listening ear...then we'd love to hear from you. Volunteering would be on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday between 11am- 4pm. Volunteers must be over 18 years of age and past or current knowledge/ experience of mental health issues necessary. Necessary training in Mental Health Peer Advocacy will be provided by Bee Heard, pending interest. An Enhanced Access NI Check is necessary for this role.
