Trustworthy, polite, helpful and friendly. Creative skills to help with displays and window dressing would also be desirable but not essential. Times required: Monday to Saturday 10am to 4:30pm, shifts are 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4:30pm. Many of our volunteers help out for one or two 3 hour shifts a week. Must be aged 18 years and over. Causeway Coast Dog Rescue is a small locally run non-profit charity dedicated to the re-homing of unwanted dogs. All monies raised are used to feed the animals and provide on-going veterinary care. We do not believe destroying a healthy dog and believe every dog deserves a second chance. By helping out in our charity shop you will be gaining valuable experience and gaining new skills for any future job opportunities. There will be the enjoyment of meeting new people and being part of a team and helping make decisions to improve our shop. It is a busy environment and training and support will be provided. If you have the skills required and the enthusiasm please volunteer, any help offered in the shop will ultimately help raise money to help with the rehoming of dogs in our care.
