Events Assistant (Can Can Bazaar)
Location Ballymoney area
Description Key Skills required: An interest in social/community events and attention to detail. Outgoing personality, confidence in making arrangements with people and organisations. Reasonable computer/IT skill set. Ability to use the internet, in particular Facebook, Twitter etc. We are looking for volunteers who can work on their own initiative, to work as part of a team and who are able to communicate effectively with colleagues, members, customers and organisations. What does the role entail? Assisting in the planning and execution of community/social/corporate events in The Hub event space. Promoting new ideas on how to develop the HUB and creating new and unique events. Creating/promoting events on social media. Responding to enquiries on our social media pages. How can we help? We will help to integrate you into the team, we will provide all the training you need. The shop manager and other volunteers will be on hand to help with any questions or difficulties you might have. What's in it for you? Ordinarily, you will work in CanCan Bazaar although there my be opportunities to work in other areas within the organisation.
