The Base at Coleraine, run by Compass Advocacy Network, is a drop in
centre for adults with learning disabilities who live locally.. The Base provides opportunities to meet and develop friendships and
provides support and connections to participate in community-based
leisure activities – such as: shopping trips, 10-pin bowling, cycling outings, walking groups, cinema outings, computer access and training and arts and crafts. The Base projects give people independence and choice as the
individuals themselves choose activities and engage in fund-raising
activities to support these.
