Girlguiding provides girls with the space and opportunities they need to thrive, grow and give back to their communities.

Our units are still running during the pandemic, we are offering a blended approach to Guiding using a combination of virtual/outdoor and indoor face to face opportunities in line with that latest Government Guidelines and Restrictions.

When you volunteer for us, you become an inspiring role model for our young members. Whatever your previous experience of Girlguiding as a volunteer you'll meet people, gain skills and do something good for you and your community. We empower girls and give them new experiences. Be a role model and help girls realise their full potential. Develop and share your skills.

Purpose of role: to ensure girls can access our new programme in a safe environment

Main tasks: oversee administration of unit. Provide a safe girl- only space. Create and deliver with the unit team on accessible and inclusive programme.

Desirable skills and experience: enthusiasm, desire to work with young girls and women

Training : Safe space, First Aid, Leadership qualification, Young Leader qualification

Age Restriction: Unit leaders required to be over 18

Areas: Bushmills, Ballycastle and Portstewart
