Storyteller volunteers help us to deliver storytelling sessions for our family visitors over weekends and the school holidays and at selected events

What's involved?
- Delivering storytelling sessions to family groups over weekends and the school holidays and at selected events
- Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors as the public face of the National Trust
- Being aware of the needs and arrangements for all visitors, including disabled and family visitors
- Developing a good knowledge of the individual place, its stories and what it has to offer throughout the day, so that all visitors receive accurate and relevant information to enhance their visit
- Becoming familiar with and then following the National Trust's Health and Safety Policy at all times
This role will suit you if you are:
- A confident and outgoing person
- Enjoy meeting new people and working with families
- Comfortable speaking in front of a group of people
Additional:
- All equipment will be provided
- Uniform provided
- Reimbursement of out of pocket travel costs between home and volunteering location in accordance with National Trust policy and agreed with the National Trust manager
