Children's And Family Support Volunteer-Residential
Are you friendly, confident and creative? We need your help to assist with a range of activities at organised events for blind and partially sighted children and their families. You could be helping with group activities such as swimming, skating, walking or providing one to one support and play with arts and craft, sculpture and music.
What you will be doing?
Support children and young people,
One to one support and guiding,
Help young people achieve objectives,
Offer guidance with activities
General Support to the Children & Family Team.
You will be required to stay overnight with the Residentials.
What skills and experience are needed?
Ability to use your own initiative
Enthusiasm, confidence and patience
Good Communication Skills
Observe confidentiality at all times.
