Dog Fosterer (Causeway Coast Dog Rescue)

At Causeway Coast Dog Rescue we are passionate about the dogs we care for and our aim of the charity is simply to re- home unwanted dogs with loving families.

However, as the requests to take in unwanted dogs has continually increased, the charity has developed into

  • creating awareness
  • educating children and adults about dogs and their needs.

By working with schools, universities and government departments, the CCDR aims to reduce unnecessary suffering and to successfully promote the value of having a dog. Every dog deserves a second chance.

We need volunteers to open their homes to foster a dog.

  • We do not believe in destroying a healthy dog
  • All dogs are assessed to guage their temperament and personality.

We also organise fundraising events such as

  • organised dog walks
  • car- boot sales
  • bag packing.

We are very busy at Causeway Coast Dog Rescue and we desperately need more volunteers! So if you are over 18 years of age, love dogs and have some spare time, please contact us to discuss what you would like to do. No length of time volunteering is too short, even one hour per week is great!

Would you like to work in our Charity Shop which is currently located in the Diamond Centre Coleraine? We are always looking for volunteers to help out with different aspects of the shop

  • collecting donation goods,
  • sorting clothes, pricing
  • coming up with promotions.
