Fundraising Volunteer (National Trust)

Do you have  a gift for fundraising? Are you passionate about raising money to support the work of the National Trust? If so, we are looking for volunteers to help plan a variety of fundraising ideas and events to help raise funds.

By getting involved, you could:

  • Come up with exciting and innovative means of fundraising
  • Have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping us raise much needed funds to support our work
  • Gain valuable experience of fundraising and encouraging support for the National Trust.

What's Involved:

  • Planning, co-ordination and management of a number of fundraising events and activities
  • Working as a team to make these events and ideas possible
  • Being present at events to explain to visitors what we are raising the funds for, and how their money will be used.
  • Making use of your communication and selling skills to encourage visitors to support the National Trust

This role will suit you if you are:

  • Passionate about the work of National Trust
  • A friendly and confident person who is good at communicating with a wide range of the general public, who enjoys talking to people to share information and stories about the great work we are doing
  • Enthusiastic about conservation as you will be vital in ensuring that we have the funds we need to carry out this important work
  • A team player who can be flexible in the work that you do


  • All equipment necessary will be provided
  • Uniform provided
  • Reimbursement of out of pocket travel costs between home and volunteering location in accordance with National Trust policy and agreed with the National Trust manager
