Managment Committee Treasurer

Solas is one year into a five year lottery funded programme, allowing the organisation sustainability for the short to meduium term.  The Treasurer will be instrumental in helping plan for the financial future of the organisation once current funding has ended.

This role involves:

  • overseeing the day to day financial managment undertaken by the Development Officer
  • Report state of finances at all meetings
  • Prepare managment accounts on a quarterly basis for presentation at the committee meetings
  • Prepare the annual statement of accounts for the AGM
  • Ensure the organisation's annual accounts are audited or examined by an independant person


  • Attend commitee meetings every 2 months
  • Attend monthly finance meeting with the development officer


  • Induction, governance and relevant financial based training will be provided
  • Travel expenses to meetings are available.
