Student Energy Project Rep

The Student Energy Project aims to reduce energy consumption with university students.

Role Description:

Your role as The Student Energy Project rep at your residence is invaluable- you are pivotal in channelling the message from TSEP to your student community about how they can positively adapt their environmental behaviours.

You will be encouraging your student peers to get involved in the sustainability activities we have on our website and at the heart of each of these activities will be something in it for the student; that may be a £50 voucher from our monthly competitions or gaining some invaluable experience for their CV. Whatever the benefit is , your role as a TSEP rep will be to inform them of the benefits and get your peers excited about being part of a project in their community centred around a great cause and getting something in return.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Days/Times Required: 1-2 hours a month
  • Location: Coleraine Campus, Ulster University
  • Training: From the TSEP team you will have a dedicated manager. This person will be in touch prior to the launch to train you in all aspects of your role and to fully brief you on the project so you feel knowledgeable about the project and confident to communicate to your students.
  • No expenses covered so volunteers need to be within travelling distance to the Coleraine campus
