Awareness Volunteers Bowel Cancer UK
Throughout Northern Ireland
a
We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease. We are looking for volunteers in Northern Ireland to support a range of activities from services and awareness support, fundraising, research and one- off volunteering. We want to have better representation across our volunteering teams from Northern Ireland so if you are interested in volunteering with us please get in touch as we're bound to have a role to suit you and your time commitment.
Our Awareness programme aims to provide accurate information and advice about bowel cancer signs and symptoms through our national roadshow and via talks and stands both in person and virtually to businesses, schools, community groups – you name it! For these activities we rely on enthusiastic volunteers who themselves have experience of bowel cancer, either themselves or through a close friend or family member. If you have an experience of bowel cancer and are confident speaking to others about the disease then this role could be for you.
We're currently looking for volunteers across the nations.
