Volunteer Mentor or Illustrator

Role Description

Help and encourage children to write creatively. Take an active role in storymaking workshops, illustrate their story.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Interest in working with children, interest in creative writing.

Days/Times Required

varied - usually 2-3 hours at a time. Some workshops are in the afternoon/evenings, some during school hours.

Colerain Riverside Theatre

Any restrictions 

over 18 only, but if you are under 18, you may be eligible for our new youth advisory committee

What training is provided (if any)

2 hours of training, plus you are able to observe on first workshop without taking an active role. 

Additional storymaker training and illustrator training available.

We would like to hear from anyone - you don't need any special skills or experience, just an interest in helping children to find their creative 'voice'.
